WHO WE ARE

Our Kindy Cottage story.

Hello, my name is Megan and I’m your local owner-operator of Kindy Cottage Sandgate. As a mum and experienced educator, I love what I do. I not only love being part of your young child’s early life as they discover, grow and have fun; I love supporting other working parents just like me.

Together with our caring and experienced team, we have created a very special childcare and kindergarten by the shores of Moreton Bay where children are cherished and feel at home. It’s inspired by my own childhood with my Nan, who spent hours with me pottering in the garden or hosting make-believe tea parties. Life was simple, treasured and full of everyday joy.

It’s this slower, more present pace of childhood that we yearn to share with our community. At Kindy Cottage Sandgate, we offer time to explore, room for discovery and support every step of the way. Because we know that children naturally love to learn and learning is naturally fun through hands-on, messy, child-led play.
